Aloinopsis malherbei, native to South Africa, has branching rosettes of spatula-shaped, erect bluish-gray leaves. White beads line the leaf margins. Honey-scented pale yellow flowers are 1" diameter. In the wild, clumps of this species resemble the limestone outcrops among which they grow. Excellent in an atrium or on a bright windowsill.
