Description

Woolly Senecio haworthii, native to South Africa, forms attractive, long, tubular leaves with densely flocked tiny white hairs. The cylindrical, upright leaves of this succulent resemble felted cocoons. A small shrub with woody stems. Flowers are shaped like pom-poms and yellowish orange. An excellent landscape plant or dish garden accent, contrasting superbly with rose-shaped succulents such as echeverias, spreading sedums, or paddle plant kalanchoe. Dormant in summer.
